Sway Bowmen

Indoor Shooting starts again on Wednesday 6th October at New Milton Recreation Centre. Be ready to go into the hall at 8:00pm sharp. We have also booked two Saturday evenings on the 13th November and the 4th December.

Today saw the Knockout competition with 16 archers shooting. It got off to a ‘moist’ start. . . Everyone stuck out the rain and it eventually cleared up for the finals between Arthur and Laurence for the Plate and Annie and Jane for the Trophy with Annie the overall winner and Arthur taking the Plate. The Target Day on the 25th August has been changed to National rounds in the afternoon as we have guests at the field in the morning. And don’t forget to come back in the evening for the EGM! (Click here for details)

A big thank you to Roy, Annie, Steve, Mike, Sandie, Trevor and Ali for preparing the field for the Mushroom Shoot today. Annie uses her tongue to guide the line marker!

Saturday afternoon saw the annual Fun Shoot organised by Pete and Cis this year. The turnout was disaponting with just 19 shooting but everyone enjoyed themselves.
