Saturday afternoon saw the annual Fun Shoot organised by Pete and Cis this year. The turnout was disaponting with just 19 shooting but everyone enjoyed themselves. On Sunday 18th July a record turnout of 11 Archers from Sway Bowmen, including 7 Juniors, attended the the Blue Lion Tournament in Bournemouth. There were 22 attending today’s Carnival Shoot. The winners of the Mixed Pairs Trophy was Jane and Trevor Chalk with Ali Smith and Bryan Golden in second place and Annie and Laurence taking third. Click here for the full results.

The top team from Sway Bowmen took on the rest of the world at the Forest of Bere Team Shoot yesterday. It was a tough competition but the Sway Team finished in the top four places. (fourth!). Not sure what Steve was laughing about – any suggestions for a caption?
