On Sunday 7th August Petersfield Bowmen held their annual Saint and Halo Tournament. A combined open shoot for all types of bow alongside a longbow shoot held under longbow rules which is different from usual. The longbow archers start the shoot with a whistling arrow and take sherry while the other archers have sighters. Longbow results are 1st place most hits, 2nd place is highest score then 3rd is most golds so a bit different. A very windy day with strong gusts so was quite difficult.
