Due to have been shot on Sunday 12th June. Adverse weather (heavy rain, good for gardens) caused the shoot to be cancelled.
It is hoped that it will be possible to hold this competition later in the year, maybe in August.

The British Blind Sport National Indoor Archery Championships took place at the National Sports Centre in Lilleshall. Sway Bowmen's Jane Chalk, a VI (visually impaired) archer was taking part in her second national indoor championships. Jane having only taken up Archery in April 2009 when she attended the beginners course at Sway Bowmen, shot a double Portsmouth round (10 dozen arrows at 18m on a 60cm target) on the Saturday with a total score of 1000 (a PB), which gave her the second place medal for her sight category, only missing out on first place by 9 points. However, her morning Portsmouth round of 493 was enough for her to retain the David Christie Memorial Trophy (for most improved handicap). Jane also shot a Worcester round (5 dozen arrows at 18m on a special black/white 40cm target) on the Sunday morning, scoring an impressive 210.
